Roger and Evelyn Bartlett are heading to Kearney this week to show Nebraska’s city leaders how WasteFinder can help them reduce the amount of waste being sent to the landfill. In a 2009 waste characterization study, the Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality estimated that $181 Million of recyclables are thrown away each year. WasteFinder helps businesses, organizations and municipalities track waste, and improve their recycling practices.
