Dump Detective Basic Launching at the International Erosion Control Conference

CleanEarthApps is heading to San Diego to officially launch Dump Detective Basic at the IECA conference February 11-13. Dump Detective is an iPad, iPhone and iPod touch app that helps monitor water quality. It allows an inspector to document an illicit stormwater dump with pictures, notes and important characteristics and immediately submit it for follow up. Reports are stored in the cloud for retrieval and follow up notes, each incident is documented with date, time latitude and longitude, and a pdf record of the incident is created at the time of reporting.

CleanEarthApps to Exhibit at the League of Nebraska Municipalities Utilities/Public Works Conference

CleanEarthApps will be previewing its latest App, Dump Detective, at the NOLM Public Utilities Conference January 16-18, 2013, at the Embassy Suites Hotel in downtown Lincoln.

Dump Detective is designed to help Stormwater Managers monitor water quality by characterizing and documenting potential illicit stormwater dumps. It allows an Inspector to add pictures and notes to a report for easier and more effective cleanup. GIS and GPS features provide information and accuracy.

Also highlighted will be it’s premier app, WasteFinder Green App. Built to help companies conduct waste assessments, WasteFinder tracks a company’s recycling rate to show performance over time. Coming this summer will be the WasteFinder Hazardous Waste Module, funded through a grant from the Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality. It will support weekly container and area inspections, aid the CAPA process, and collect data required for a site’s RCRA Reporting.
